" Hope moore launched Heaven's Cave with the intention of providing funds to her Make the DASH Count Foundation, a foundation for helping youth.  The grapes for this come from a top Horse Heaven Hills vineyard, and the resulting wine is superb.  It opens with smoky aromas of mild oad and dark fruit, followed by velvety flavors of ripe blackberry".  (50 cases produced)

One of 48 wines recommended for rating by Wine & Spirits from a blind tasting of 329 new American releases.  The inaugural release of Destination Merlot was awarded an "exceptional"  rating with 90 points by Wine & Spirits' Patrick Comiskey.

2005 Icicles | Recommended pairing holiday sweets with Heaven's Cave's Icicles Riesling Ice wine in their article, The One-Minute Lesson on Desser Wines, Sunset Magazine, November 2007. 

In a one-minute lesson ondesert wines, Sunset writers indicate the the rule of thumb when pairing sweets and wine is that the wine should be at least as sweet as the dessert, with enough acidity for balance.
