Heaven's CAVE

Cave

The Cave at Destiny Ridge

For miles around, the Cave beckons travelers from its perch high above the Columbia River.  Owner Hope Moore worked with Tri-City-based architect Tere Thornhill to create this remarkable, Tuscan-inspired home for Heaven's Cave Cellars.  The Cave will be a unique venue for winery events and will provide an exciting new destination for wine lovers to have the complete wine experience.

The original inspiration for the Cave was a picture Moore owned of a lighthouse with its guiding beacon of light.  "I wanted a place where people could come to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city," Moore says, "a place of reflection and rejuvenation where they could get in touch with nature and experience the production side of winemaking."

The spectacular vertical, stucco-and-stone construction of the Cave is crowned with an observation tower offering expansive 360-degree views of the Horse Heaven Hills, the adjacent Destiny Ridge Vineyard and rolling farmland for as far as the eye can see.

Scheduled for completion in spring 2011, the Cave is sure to inspire the curious day tripper as well as the most passionate wine lover to slow down and explore the beauty and bounty of the Eastern Washington desert Heaven's Cave calls home.
